The irresistible scent of mangoes drag us to them like bees to flowers while shopping at the fruit and vegetable aisles. Here is a simple and tasty mango, avocado salsa fresca with a hint of chillis, shallots and lime. Enjoy Summer!

Ingredients

ripe mangoes- 1 each
ripe hass avocado- 1 each
shallots (or) red onions chopped- 1 tbsp
Thai red chillis - 2 nos (remove seed and slice thin)
cilantro- 10 sprigs
lime juice- to taste
sea salt- to taste

Method

1.Using a sharp knife, peel, cut and dice the mango and avocado into bite sized cubes and place them in a bowl.
2.add the chopped shallots, thinly sliced Thai red chillis, a few sprigs of cilantro, salt and a generous splash of lime juice and gently mix the salsa fresca with a spoon.
3. Serve along with soft tortillas or nacho chips.
