Fall/ Autumn fruits are a true delight. They take a new dimension when grilled. Variety of apples from crunchy to soft textured, plums, colorful and juicy pears, spotted with bright red pomegranates, fragrant mustard oil and caraway add to the aroma, with a chatpata (lightnigy) chaat masala and fresh mint leaves..a medley of seasonal flavors. Now it is time to light up your grill.


apple granny smith-1 each
apple- red delicious- 1 each
red plums- 3 each
pears Borsch - 2 each
mustard oil- 1 tbsp
caraway seeds- 1 tsp
chaat masala (Everest Brand)- to sprinkle
lemon juice- 1 tbsp


1. Wash, pat dry and cut the fruits into chunks.
2. Place them on the grill for 2-3 minutes, turn 90 degree and place them for 2-3 minutes. Until they get a charred hatch mark. Place them in a bowl.
3. Slightly heat the mustard oil in a pan, allow to smoke remove and add the caraway seeds.
4. Pour the mustard oil over the smoky grilled fruits. Sprinkle chaat masala, a splash of lemon juice and torn mint leaves.
5. Toss in a handful of bright red pomegranates.

Serving Ideas

Serve along with a glass of Cider. Heaven Awaits!
